LAST DAY FOR DIAPER DRIVE JUNE 16TH THIS SUNDAY The Pregnancy Center is holding their annual diaper drive. There is a play pen set up under the awning Tues.- Fri. from 9 am to 5pm and Sundays during services through Father’s Day, June 16th. They are currently in need of sizes 4,5,& 6. From today's message in Acts 13:13. John Mark claimed to live one way, but behind the scenes maybe did another. He was playing the role but maybe not living the role. Is that where you are at in life now? The greatest goal and value in this church is for every member to have alone time with the Lord daily.
From tonight's study in 2 Samuel 17. When David's son, Absalom, rebelled against David, we saw David's friend, Ahithophel betray David and join Absalom. When this happened we saw David's pray "O Lord, I pray, turn the counsel of Ahithophel into foolishness!"- 2 Samuel 15:31. Then we saw God send Hushai to David to do just that (2 Samuel 15:34). We see the answer to that prayer in this chapter, 2 Samuel 17:14. God protected David, even though David himself failed many times. Although David failed often, he repented well. "The good Christian isn't the Christian who never fails. The good Christian is the one that recovers well."- pastor Rod.
